An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Data Architect to lead the evolution of a large-scale Aftermarket Analytics Platform within a fast-paced and innovation-driven automotive technology environment.

You will play a strategic role in defining data architecture standards, guiding multiple data teams, and enabling business-driven decision-making through scalable and future-proof solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

Enterprise Data Architecture

• Define and evolve the overall data architecture strategy and target-state design principles.
• Drive architectural consistency across multiple domain-oriented data teams.
• Establish standards for data modeling, integration, governance, and quality.
• Promote reusable and scalable architecture patterns across the organization.

Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Business Data Analysts to design data products, KPIs, and interfaces.
• Act as the key liaison between business units, data governance teams, and IT organizations.
• Align architectural initiatives with business objectives and enterprise data strategies.

Data Governance & Quality

• Define and enforce:
• Data ownership models
• Data lifecycle processes
• Data lineage and metadata management standards
• Data quality frameworks
• Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Innovation & Platform Evolution

• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
• Provide architectural guidance to ongoing projects, ensuring robust and cost-effective implementations.

Leadership & Enablement

• Mentor and support multiple agile data teams.
• Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and architectural excellence.
• Champion a unified, business-oriented data vision across regions and functions.

Required Experience & Skills

Architecture & Data Strategy

✔ 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect

✔ Strong expertise in modern data architecture principles

✔ Experience translating business strategies into scalable architectural solutions

✔ Deep understanding of data governance, lineage, ownership, and lifecycle management

Cloud Data Platforms

✔ Hands-on experience with:

• Databricks
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Data Lake
• Microsoft Purview

Data Modeling

✔ Advanced knowledge of:

• Data Vault
• Dimensional Modeling
• Canonical Data Models

Data Engineering & Integration

✔ Experience with:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• PySpark
• Synapse Pipelines
• Qlik
• Data integration and orchestration frameworks

DevOps & Platform Optimization

✔ Familiarity with:

• CI/CD practices
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• DevOps methodologies
• Cloud cost and performance optimization

Security & Compliance

✔ Understanding of:

• Data security frameworks
• Regulatory compliance requirements
• Enterprise governance practices
