SAP CLOUD DEVELOPER (ABAP) (HYBRID PORTO/GAIA)

💼 Work Model: Hybrid — 3 to 4 days/month in the office

About the Opportunity

An international company in the Automotive Tech sector is looking for an experienced SAP Cloud Developer (ABAP) to support and evolve SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments through scalable cloud development, integrations, and DevOps best practices.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, RAP/CAP development, and modern cloud-based architectures, with the opportunity to work on innovative end-to-end integrations and enterprise automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean-core SAP extensions using RAP (in-app) and CAP (side-by-side) architectures.
• Design and maintain SAP CPI iFlows, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Build and optimize UI5/Fiori applications, extensions, and client-side JavaScript solutions.
• Develop integrations and automation flows involving:
• SAP CPQ
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP CPI
• SAP BTP
• Implement RESTful APIs, custom fields, workflows, and pricing extensions.
• Create scalable cloud applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and SAP Cloud frameworks.
• Work with Groovy, XSLT, JSON/XML payloads, and API integrations.
• Perform performance tuning using:
• CDS annotations
• Buffering
• Pagination
• Parallelization
• Build automated tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and document technical solutions, integrations, and iFlows.
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms and backend enhancements.
• Apply secure coding practices, secrets management, and least-privilege access standards.

Required Experience

✔️ 5+ years of experience as an SAP Cloud Developer (ABAP)

✔️ Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and SAP BTP
