SAP TM CONSULTANT (HYBRID PORTO)

We can consider candidates from any region of Portugal, provided they are available to travel to Porto sporadically, only when truly necessary.

To be more specific, when necessary, the travel will be approximately 1 to 2 days per month. However, we emphasize that trips will only take place if they are effectively justified.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP TM Consultant to lead functional analysis, solution design, and implementation within transportation management projects. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of efficient and scalable SAP TM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis

·         Gather, analyse, and validate functional requirements with logistics, transport, and operations teams

·         Translate business needs into clear and structured functional specifications

Solution Design

·         Propose SAP TM solutions aligned with best practices and existing system architecture

·         Participate in functional and technical design workshops

Documentation

·         Create and maintain Functional Specification (FS) documentation

·         Assist developers in producing complementary technical documentation

Development Support

·         Guide the development team through implementation

·         Validate both technical and functional deliverables

Testing & Validation

·         Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria

·         Support SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Coordination & Communication

·         Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

·         Ensure consistent alignment across requirements, development, and final delivery

Requirements

·         Degree in Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or related field

·         10+ years of experience as a SAP TM Consultant

·         Proven track record in SAP TM (Transportation Management) implementations

·         Strong understanding of transportation processes — planning, execution, and monitoring

·         Experience in functional documentation and guiding technical teams

·         Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

·         Fluency in Portuguese and English

Valued Certification

·         SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Transportation Management
