MULESOFT DEVELOPER (HYBRID PORTO) 

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position

📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

💼 Work Model: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site)

About the Role

An international technology-driven organization in the Automotive Tech sector is looking for a MuleSoft Developer to join its integration team in Porto. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade API and integration projects, contributing to large-scale digital transformation initiatives in a modern, agile, and cloud-oriented environment.

You will design, build, and optimize integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, collaborating closely with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver robust and scalable API solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Implement API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs)
  • Create and maintain RAML / OpenAPI specifications in Anypoint Design Center
  • Develop data transformations with DataWeave
  • Deploy and manage applications on CloudHub or Runtime Fabric
  • Perform unit testing (MUnit), troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Experience & Profile

  • 3–5+ years in API development or enterprise integration projects
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft
  • Solid background in enterprise integration landscapes

Technical & Functional Skills

Core Technologies

  • Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform, DataWeave 2.0
  • REST, SOAP, RAML, JSON, XML
  • API design principles and integration patterns

DevOps & Cloud

  • CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure
  • SQL and database integration

Security & Architecture

  • OAuth, JWT, TLS
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, databases, and SaaS integrations
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Self-driven, quality-focused, and delivery-oriented

Certifications (Valued)

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD – Mule 4)
  • MuleSoft Integration Architect (nice to have)
