We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a challenging project within the Insurance sector, contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable backend solutions.

This is a great opportunity for professionals who enjoy working with modern backend architectures, microservices, cloud environments, and high-quality software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and related frameworks.

Create and maintain system functionality.

Build and consume RESTful APIs.

Review code for Pull Request approval.

Design solutions based on microservices.

Ensure code quality by applying SOLID principles and clean architecture.

Diagnose issues, debug production problems, and resolve defects.

Create and maintain technical documentation for services.

Must Have

6+ years of experience in Java Development.

Experience working with PostgreSQL and writing SQL queries.

Experience using cloud APIs.

Previous experience with Azure services such as Azure Batch, Azure Kubernetes Service, etc. is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with Secure Software Development Life Cycle practices, including tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx.

Nice to Have

Kotlin for Desktop applications.

C++ for Desktop applications.

Angular 8+.

Vert.X.

Azure Cloud experience.
