About the Opportunity
A global organization operating in the Automotive Tech sector is looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead enterprise-level B2B Commerce transformations and shape scalable digital commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and complex international commerce ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall SFCC B2B architecture, including storefronts, integrations, data flows, and security models;
- Translate business requirements into scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions;
- Architect complex B2B commerce capabilities such as:
- Account hierarchies
- Contract pricing
- Approval workflows
- Customer-specific catalogs
- Advanced pricing structures
- Design integration architecture with systems such as:
- SAP ERP
- CRM
- PIM
- DAM
- Customer databases
- Establish governance standards, CI/CD pipelines, and development best practices;
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to distributed development teams;
- Ensure platform scalability, security, performance optimization, and Salesforce best practices;
- Support go-live activities, stabilization, performance tuning, and issue resolution;
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in technology and solution architecture;
- Proven experience delivering Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B projects;
- Strong background in transforming legacy eCommerce platforms into modern Salesforce ecosystems;
- Experience working in global, multi-brand, multi-country commerce environments.
Functional Expertise
- Deep understanding of B2B digital commerce processes, including:
- Quoting
- Bulk ordering
- Reordering
- Contract pricing
- Customer-specific catalogs
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end order lifecycle management;
- Automotive industry experience is highly valued, especially knowledge of:
- Dealer networks
- Tiered pricing models
- Spare parts operations
- Long product lifecycle management
Technical Skills
Salesforce & Commerce
- Senior expertise in:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / SFRA)
- Salesforce B2B Commerce
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Strong experience with:
- REST APIs
- GraphQL
- OCAPI / SCAPI
Architecture & Integrations
- Solid understanding of:
- API-led architecture
- Event-driven integrations
- Middleware solutions
- Authentication & security (OAuth, SSO, roles & permissions)
Development & DevOps
- Experience with:
- JavaScript
- ISML
- APIs
- CI/CD pipelines
- DevOps practices
- Performance optimization & caching strategies
- Ability to create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and integration blueprints.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Strategic mindset with pragmatic decision-making abilities;
- Comfortable working in international and cross-functional teams;
