INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL SUPERVISORS (HYBRID SINES)
Portuguese company hires for hybrid position
📍 Location: Sines, Portugal
⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered
💼 Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site)

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Control Supervisor to join a large-scale industrial project within the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in industrial instrumentation, control systems, and site supervision in complex environments such as refineries, petrochemical plants, or heavy industry operations.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising Instrumentation & Control (I&C) activities in industrial environments;
- Solid hands-on experience with:
- Instrumentation installation
- Wiring
- Calibration
- Loop checks
- Functional testing
- Strong understanding of field execution practices and industrial site operations;
- Experience coordinating contractors and working closely with DCS/PLC and commissioning teams;
- Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and permit-to-work procedures;
- Fluent English (minimum C1);
- Fluent Portuguese (minimum C2).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise instrumentation installation, wiring, calibration, loop checks, and testing activities;
- Coordinate daily with contractors, construction teams, and DCS/PLC specialists;
- Verify I&C activities according to drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards;
- Manage work permits and ensure compliance with on-site safety procedures;
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, including system handover;
- Identify and resolve site issues, non-conformities, and punch list items;
- Provide regular progress updates to engineering and site management teams.
