BUSINESS ANALYST JR (HYBRID)

  Portuguese company hires for remote position

📍 Location:  Lisbon

Work Model: Hybrid ( 2/week in Lisbon)

Language Requirements: English (min B2) - Portuguese is a plus

The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple business domains, gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams, and driving process improvements and system implementations. This position requires adaptability, a proactive mindset, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and clarify detailed business requirements;
• Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify improvement opportunities and efficiency gains;
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications;
• Collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to design, test, and deploy solutions aligned with business objectives;
• Support data analysis tasks, including model creation, data validation, and quality assurance;
• Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment;
• Assist in creating and delivering training materials and end-user support documentation;
• Monitor project progress, manage change requests, and track deliverables to ensure timely completion;
• Ensure all solutions adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across teams;
• Maintain transparent and trust-based relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role;
• Proven ability to analyze processes and translate business needs into clear technical specifications;
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher); Portuguese proficiency is an advantage;
• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
• Background in data analysis, data modeling, and validation;
• Hands-on experience with E-invoicing and testing processes (mandatory);
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multicultural environment;
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in business analysis.
