SENIOR STATISTICIAN (REMOTE)

If your comfort zone is crunching numbers, validating datasets, and making sure clinical trial data tells the right story, this role is calling your name.

What you’ll be doing:

·         Bring statistical expertise to the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials

·         Review and write protocols, SAPs, SDTM & ADaM specs for moderately complex studies

·         Perform programming & validation of SDTM, ADaM and TLFs

·         Run QC checks on datasets, shells, and analysis outputs

·         Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and consistent data reporting

·         Contribute to scientific publications, ensuring statistical quality and rigor

·         Work with US teams and align with Eastern Daylight Time (14:30–22:30 Lisbon time)

What we must see in your CV:

👉 Master’s in Statistics/Biostatistics (PhD preferred)
👉 4+ years (Master’s) OR 1+ year (PhD) industry experience as a Study Statistician
👉 Proven ability to lead projects and work cross-functionally
👉 Solid foundation in advanced statistical methodologies
👉 Strong SAS programming skills (advanced procedures)
👉 Experience with clinical trial data, regulatory guidelines, and submissions
👉 English C1 level

·         Experience mentoring or managing team members

·         Exposure to novel statistical methodologies

·         Strong ability to explain stats to non-statisticians (yes, that skill counts a lot!)

·         Schedule: 14:30 – 22:30 Lisbon time (aligned with US East Coast)

·         Industry: Clinical technology & services

·         Travel: minimal (up to 5%)
