SCRUM MASTER (REMOTE PORTO)

Portuguese company hires for remote position

📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

💼 Work Model: Remote, with 2–3 days per month in the office

🗣️ Language Requirements: English (fluent – mandatory)

🕓 Seniority: Senior (5+ years)

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Lead the adoption of Agile practices, especially in teams with limited Scrum experience
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives), adapting them to complex environments
  • Act as a coach and mentor, promoting Agile mindset, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Support backlog management, prioritization, and alignment—even in non-product-driven contexts
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments, including cross-team and organizational blockers
  • Provide clear visibility on progress, risks, and performance through Agile metrics and dashboards
  • Foster transparency, trust, and alignment across distributed teams
  • Encourage a strong culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

🧠 What You Bring

✔️ Experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master

⚙️ Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with flexibility in hybrid environments
  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Ability to align business stakeholders, IT, and technical teams
  • Expertise in facilitation, conflict resolution, and coordination
  • Experience with Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, WIP
  • Proven ability to drive Agile maturity and cultural transformation

💻 Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Azure DevOps (boards, workflows, dashboards, reporting)
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery metrics
  • Experience with Agile scaling frameworks or hybrid delivery models (nice to have)

🤝 Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Pragmatic, hands-on mindset
  • Strong intercultural awareness and ability to build trust
  • Passion for enabling team success and collaboration

🌍 Languages

  • English (fluent – mandatory)

🎓 Certifications

  • Relevant Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM)
