IT RISK ANALYST (HYBRID LISBON)

About the Opportunity

A leading global financial institution is looking for an experienced IT Risk Analyst to join its Wealth Management technology division in Lisbon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international banking environment focused on IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Operational Risk, and Governance.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating IT and operational risks across projects, applications, and production environments while supporting compliance with global risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

IT Risk Management

• Identify and assess IT, Cybersecurity, and Operational Risks
• Perform risk analysis aligned with global IT risk frameworks
• Monitor remediation plans and mitigation activities
• Support projects to ensure proper risk treatment and compliance
• Produce risk indicators, dashboards, and management reports
• Analyze operational risk metrics including:
• RCSA
• Historical Incidents
• Control Plans
• IT Risk Profiles

Operational Incident Management

• Assess risks related to production and project incidents
• Evaluate financial, legal, regulatory, and compliance impacts
• Register and document incidents within risk management tools

Reporting & Governance

• Deliver accurate Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting
• Support Internal Control and Management Committees
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk governance processes

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Strong experience in IT Risk Management

✅ Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Fraud Prevention, and Data Protection

✅ Understanding of Banking Information Systems

✅ Familiarity with IT System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

✅ Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

✅ Experience with data analysis and reporting

✅ Knowledge of ServiceNow GRC]

✅ Project Management capabilities

✅ High level of confidentiality and integrity

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Relevant experience in:
• IT Risk Management
• IT Audit
• IT Security
• Risk certifications are highly valued:
• ISO 31000
• CRISC (ISACA)
• Similar certifications

⭐ Previous experience in the Banking Industry is a strong advantage.
