About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to participate in complex global transformation initiatives. You will support new SAP implementations, transitions from non-SAP environments and migrations from SAP WM to SAP EWM.
The role also involves expanding and rolling out a global SAP EWM template, improving existing warehouse solutions and integrating SAP EWM with transport management, manufacturing, packaging, analytics and automated warehouse systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams across Europe, North America, South America, India, China and the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement SAP solutions at completely new sites.
- Lead or support transitions from non-SAP systems to SAP ERP and SAP EWM.
- Plan and execute migrations from SAP WM to SAP EWM.
- Contribute to the evolution of a global SAP EWM template.
- Roll out the SAP EWM template across international locations.
- Continuously improve SAP EWM solutions already operating in production.
- Design and implement complex global IT solutions.
- Analyse warehouse and logistics processes and translate business requirements into SAP EWM solutions.
- Create functional and technical concepts.
- Configure and customize SAP EWM.
- Support integrations between SAP EWM and SAP ERP.
- Connect SAP EWM with systems and components such as:
- SAP Transportation Management;
- SAP Package Builder;
- Manufacturing Execution Systems;
- Real-time analytics and reporting platforms;
- Material Flow Control solutions for automated warehouses.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables with external suppliers.
- Work as a project team member or workstream lead.
- Document solutions and present project results.
- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
- Manage requirements, timelines, dependencies and technical constraints with business and technical stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements
- Between 5 and 7+ years of professional experience as an SAP EWM Consultant.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP EWM.
- Experience with SAP EWM implementations, migrations or international rollouts.
- Experience with SAP EWM configuration and customizing.
- Knowledge of the relevant interfaces between SAP EWM and SAP ERP.
- Experience designing complex global IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and designing process and system solutions.
- Ability to create functional and technical concepts.
- Experience implementing and supporting complex SAP solutions.
- Ability to analyse and resolve integration, configuration and production incidents.
- Experience working with external suppliers and international stakeholders.
- Ability to document solutions and present results clearly.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
- Availability to work from the Porto/Gaia office once per week.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior SAP EWM professional with solid experience in implementations, migrations, global template rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives.
You combine functional consulting skills with strong technical knowledge of SAP EWM configuration, integrations and frameworks. You are comfortable working with business stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers across different countries and time zones.
You are analytical, organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot complex issues and translate warehouse requirements into scalable solutions. You communicate technical concepts clearly and maintain a strong focus on operational efficiency and end-user experience.
