About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Manager Developer to build, maintain, and evolve scalable digital experience solutions.
You will work across AEM development, enterprise integrations, technical design, and application support. In collaboration with Architecture, UX, Product, Business, and Engineering teams, you will help deliver secure, high-performance, and maintainable digital platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AEM professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance solutions using Adobe Experience Manager;
- Create and customise AEM components, templates, workflows, and services;
- Develop features using Java, J2EE, Sling, and OSGi;
- Work with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and Apache Dispatcher;
- Build integrations between AEM and enterprise systems using REST APIs and JSON;
- Participate in technical design and help define scalable and sustainable solutions;
- Collaborate with Architecture, UX, Product, Business, and Engineering teams;
- Promote application quality, performance, security, and maintainability;
- Support deployment automation and CI/CD practices;
- Troubleshoot complex technical incidents and perform root-cause analysis;
- Participate in code reviews and share development best practices;
- Contribute to architectural, technical, and process improvements.
Essential Requirements
- Solid professional experience developing and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager solutions;
- Hands-on experience with Java and J2EE development;
- Practical knowledge of AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Sling, OSGi, and Apache Dispatcher;
- Experience creating or customising AEM components, templates, workflows, and services;
- Knowledge of Maven and Git;
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript;
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON;
- Experience integrating AEM with enterprise systems;
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in complex environments;
- Understanding of application quality, performance, security, and maintainability;
- Fluent English at C2 level;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
These qualifications are valuable but not mandatory:
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service;
- Knowledge of Headless CMS architecture;
- Familiarity with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem;
- Experience developing complex API integrations;
- Exposure to DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience working directly with international stakeholders;
- Adobe Experience Manager or AEM Sites certification;
- AEM architecture certification;
- Certification or practical experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
