Portuguese company hires for hybrid position
📍 Location: Porto, Portugal
⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered
💼 Work Model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office

💲Rate Between €2900 - 3200 RV or unipessoal (gross value)

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior AI Solution Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions. The role focuses on Agentic AI, AI platform engineering, and integration with enterprise systems to address business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of Agentic AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Develop AI platform infrastructure and integrations with internal systems.
- Establish technical standards and engineering best practices.
- Translate business challenges into AI use cases and technical solutions.
- Mentor team members and support AI adoption, documentation, and technical handover.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Agile software engineering, covering the full engineering lifecycle.
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Working knowledge of Agentic AI and experience with core machine learning concepts and implementations.
- Experience with Azure cloud platforms and AI services.
- Hands-on DevOps skills.
- Experience developing microservices using Flask, Django, or Spring (Java).
- Practical experience with GitHub Copilot and other AI development tools.
- GitHub Copilot Certification and experience working with Scrum and/or Kanban.
Preferred: AI/ML engineering certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer, Google Cloud ML Engineer, or AWS ML certifications. Generative AI certifications or training are a plus.

An autonomous engineer who combines technical leadership with a practical understanding of business needs. Able to communicate complex concepts clearly, collaborate across engineering, data science, and platform teams, and mentor junior colleagues.
