About the Opportunity
We are looking for an APS Cloud Specialist to join a Wealth Management Application Production Support team. You will ensure the stability, availability and resilience of critical banking applications and cloud platforms, combining production support with infrastructure automation, DevOps and continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support banking applications and data platform services, managing incidents and service requests within SLAs and escalating production risks promptly.
- Monitor services, analyze application, middleware and system logs, and improve availability while reducing MTTD and MTTR.
- Participate in 24/7 support coverage, Disaster Recovery tests, Live Play events and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Build and maintain Ansible Playbooks and Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment.
- Train Operations teams on Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, and validate knowledge transferred by development teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and operational reporting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- More than 11 years of experience in Application Production Support, IT Operations or Software Engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on cloud experience with IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker; mastery of Ansible and Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Strong Kubernetes administration and support, Terraform, infrastructure automation, and Python and/or Bash scripting skills.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, database troubleshooting, production log analysis, monitoring and observability, including Dynatrace.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis or Concourse, ITIL processes and DevOps practices.
- English C1 and availability for the stated hybrid and support schedules. Banking, Financial Services or Wealth Management experience is highly valued.
