FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (TYPESCRIPT & REACT) (HYBRID PORTO)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position

📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

💼 Work Model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to contribute to web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS. You will work across frontend and backend development within a collaborative Agile team, with guidance to develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive interfaces and reusable components using React and TypeScript.
• Build backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and NestJS.
• Integrate APIs, including data validation and error handling.
• Contribute to database modelling, queries, authentication, and authorization.
• Write frontend and backend unit tests.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in Fullstack, Frontend, or Backend development. Relevant internships, graduate programmes, and practical experience will be considered.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, reusable components, and responsive design.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks, and backend development using Node.js and NestJS.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and error handling; familiarity with schema validation tools such as Zod.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.
• Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with Jest or Vitest, plus basic exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and Agile practices using Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred: Exposure to Playwright, Storybook, or Figma, and certifications in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Kubernetes.

A curious and proactive developer who communicates clearly, welcomes feedback, and seeks guidance when needed. Able to translate requirements into technical solutions with support, identify blockers, and gradually develop greater autonomy.
