📍 Location: Lisbon, Portugal
⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered
💼 Work Model: Hybrid — 2 to 3 days per week in the office

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Cloud Application Support / DevOps Engineer to support business-critical data platform applications. This role combines production support, monitoring, incident management, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration in a demanding international environment.
The position includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for critical applications and services;
- Monitor platform health, investigate alerts, and resolve incidents;
- Analyse application, system, and middleware logs;
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments;
- Support containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes;
- Collaborate with development and operations teams during releases;
- Participate in on-call support, incident response, and problem management;
- Support disaster recovery tests and production-readiness reviews;
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles;
- Ensure compliance with SLOs and contribute to continuous improvement.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux;
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform;
- Knowledge of PL/SQL;
- Experience using Dynatrace for monitoring and troubleshooting;
- Production support and incident-management experience;
- Ability to analyse application, system, and middleware logs;
- Availability for hybrid work in Lisbon;
- Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation;
- Advanced or fluent English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a solid background in application production support and DevOps, combining strong troubleshooting skills with practical experience in infrastructure automation and container technologies. You are proactive, calm when handling critical incidents, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary international teams.
