📍 Location: Lisbon, Portugal
⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered
💼 Work Model: Hybrid — 2 to 3 days per week in the office

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst with strong data knowledge to support data integration and data quality initiatives within the financial sector.
You will gather requirements, analyse business processes and data ecosystems, coordinate testing activities, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, document, and manage business requirements;
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories;
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs;
- Analyse business processes and data ecosystems;
- Model processes using BPMN and UML;
- Coordinate functional testing and solution validation;
- Support data integration and data quality initiatives;
- Collaborate with business and technical teams in an Agile environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments;
- Experience with requirements gathering and functional documentation;
- Ability to create user stories and manage backlogs;
- Knowledge of BPMN and UML;
- Experience with Agile methodologies;
- Practical SQL and PL/SQL development skills;
- Knowledge of the financial or banking sector;
- Fluent English and Portuguese;
- Availability for hybrid work in Lisbon.

The ideal candidate combines strong business-analysis skills with practical data knowledge. You are comfortable working with SQL, understanding data flows, coordinating testing, and communicating effectively with both business stakeholders and development teams.
