📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build scalable enterprise applications using Angular and TypeScript. You will contribute to frontend architecture and own features throughout their lifecycle, with a focus on user experience, reliability, and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate scalable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Own features from requirements and technical design through deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
- Build responsive interfaces and micro frontends integrated with REST APIs.
- Ensure usability, accessibility, performance, security, and application quality.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, and business teams on solutions and architectural decisions.
- Apply automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD while promoting engineering standards and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years in frontend engineering, including enterprise Angular applications and complex solutions.
- Strong expertise in modern Angular, with advanced TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, RxJS, and reactive programming.
- Experience developing responsive, accessible, and high-performing interfaces.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and understanding frontend/backend interactions.
- Knowledge of Web Components and micro frontend architectures.
- Experience with state management, preferably NgRx Store.
- Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Cypress and similar frameworks.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, and CI/CD; familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, and Agile delivery.
Preferred: jQuery knowledge for legacy modernization. Angular, Web Accessibility, Software Architecture, or Azure certifications are a plus; no certifications are mandatory.

An autonomous engineer with strong ownership, analytical skills, and clear communication. Able to translate business and UX requirements into practical solutions, manage competing priorities, and balance delivery with long-term application quality.
