📍 Location: Portugal (Lisbon, Fundão or Porto)

🌟 About the Opportunity

A leading organization in the Life Sciences sector is looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join a dynamic and innovation-driven team.

This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals based in Portugal, offering the chance to work on impactful projects that combine backend engineering, cloud technologies, and machine learning solutions.

If you are passionate about building scalable systems, enjoy working in Agile environments, and want to stay at the forefront of technology, this role is for you.

🛠️ Main Responsibilities & Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
  • Familiarity with Angular or React and TypeScript
  • Exposure to Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Design, build, and enhance business-tier components, web applications, and database objects
  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop complex applications and create structured test cases
  • Work effectively within an Agile methodology

➕ Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (containerization & orchestration)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle and algorithms

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn
  • Availability to start within 2–4 weeks
