SENIOR SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid work

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Working Model: Hybrid Position: 2/3 times per week in Client (Lisboa)

Language Requirements: Fluent English (C1+)

Experience:  5+ and up to 9 years of experience on the role for which the service is being hired

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, demonstrates excellent English communication skills, and possesses deep technical expertise in SharePoint development.

• Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and follow industry best practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior developers.
• Continuously enhance and optimize existing SharePoint environments.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative development culture.

• Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in SharePoint development (Online and Server).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, Agile environment.
• Experience in Scrum or other Agile methodologies.

• Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, and PnP.
• Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of C# and familiarity with ASP.NET and MVC frameworks.
• Understanding of web security and secure coding practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Experience in performance tuning and scaling SharePoint solutions.
• Familiarity with Office 365 services (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps).

• Must-Have Skills:

• C#
• Microsoft SharePoint (Online and Server)
• SharePoint Migration Tool
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with SharePoint migration projects.
• Integration knowledge between SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with Power BI for in-SharePoint data visualization.
• Experience in SharePoint governance and compliance strategies.
• Understanding of hybrid SharePoint environments.
• Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or O365.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, especially Azure DevOps.
